Code of Conduct

  1.

Christian Riders Of the Sovereign Savior

    Code of  Conduct:

    • Members and candidates will conduct themselves in a manner that reflects the rules and ethics of the C.R.O.S.S. The Holy Bible has the rule of standards that will govern the conduct of all members.Jesus is the role model of the New Testament and our walk should reflect his image.

    • The C.R.O.S.S. is a team of sinners saved by grace. Our death to sin is a daily walk in the Lord. Our righteousness comes only through his mercy and grace. Self righteousness will alwayslead to false judgement. We cannot engage in the battle for the soul , if self-righteousness keeps us at a distance. Jesus was affective, because he engages himself on a personal level into the lives of the lost. He washed the feet of sinners. Jesus would leave the whole flock to save one sheep that was lost. We should be willing to leave our comfort zone in order to engage in a personal battle to help a sinner through their pains and sufferings. This is true discipleship.

    • Respect the attitude of a biker. If we are chosen by God, he has already chosen the people that  He wants us to reach. The door will already be open for the ones that God has chosen.      Members of The C.R.O.S.S. will not force a door to open. We will stay in fervent prayer for a spirit of discernment.

    • Members of The C.R.O.S.S. must stay within the guidelines of evangelism that reflects our Code.

    • The harvest if plenty, but the laborers are few. When we are called to evangelize, we put ourselves at risk. We will sometimes be a minority of saved amongst a majority of the unsaved. There is hedge of protection for all evangelists. We will stay within the boundaries of that hedge. The word of God will keep us within those boundaries. Members of The C.R.O.S.S. will not conform to sin or compromise our conduct. There has to be a mutual respect of conduct between bikers. judgment should only come on a personal level. A biker will only allow a relationship on a personal level when he is ready to receive the gift of salvation.

    • God has called us to evangelize to all who are unsaved. As bikers, our motorcycles can be used as a platform that will draw the attention of other bikers. We must take full advantage of this platform to reach out to the unsaved biker.

    • All membere of The C.R.O.S.S. are accountable to the authority (Pastor) of the local Christianchurch. Our actions should never disrespect or disregard the leaders and members of that church. We are servants. The Church is the authority.

    • The C.R.O.S.S. is not a church. It is a motorcycle evangelist outreach ministry of the Body ofChrist, which is the local church.

    • The local church may choose not to have a motorcycle outreach ministry. The members ofThe C.R.O.S.S. must humbly respect that decision made by that church. The member of that church is still obligated to regular attendance of that local church. The local Pastor or church leadership will have to confirm the commitment of all candidates of The C.R.O.S.S.

    Objectives

    • Our main objective is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to bikers when ever and where ever possible. When and wherever possible should never compromise our walk in the faith.
    • To be committed to regular attendance at a local Christian church.
